Motorway service stations.
Or at least the two I’ve tried. Nowhere to sit, takes two stages to buy anything to eat (pay first, then order from someone else), not a lot of choice.
Then again the food is OK once you get it.

I’ve eaten at an Autogrill café, as opposed to the full thing as it were. Not exciting.
